Rhubarb Sauce

Great sauce to put over ice cream or a small bowl with some cream on top.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs (4c?) rhubarb, chopped
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil first 3 ingredients until mushy.
  2. Add sugar – stir until sugar dissolves (taste – you may need more sugar)
  3. It will be a bit runny, but will set up.

Notes

This freezes pretty well.
