So simple, so tasty. Cooking it low and slow makes the meat get so tender.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chuck roast (gite de noix ou joue de boeuf)
  • 1 packet of french onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Put roast in roasting pan.
  2. Sprinkle with dry soup mix.
  3. Fill pan with 1″ of water. Cover w/foil.
  4. Bake at 325° F / 162° C- 1 hour per pound
  5. For gravy:
  6. Heat pan on stove, add water/flour mixture, stir. Add salt & pepper & brewed coffee
