This is a harder coated corn – more of a candy coating. Definitely sticks to your teeth, but so yummy!

1/2 cup clear syrup (Karo brand works well)
1 cup butter (227 g)
3 poppers of popcorn (1 popper = 1/3 c. corn kernels)
1 tsp flavoring (cinnamon, peppermint, etc.)
food coloring

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Cook sugar, syrup & butter to almost the hard-ball stage (260º F).
Add flavoring & food coloring, mixing well.
Pour over popcorn, mix quickly.
Spread & cool on waxed paper sheets (helps to butter your hands. Gets hot!).
Store in covered tin.
