Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups corn
  • 2 tbsp butter (24 oz)
  • 8 oz heavy cream (can use cream cheese)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • milk, as needed

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan.
  2. Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes while stirring.
  3. Add cream or cream cheese, & sugar. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Allow to simmer 1 minute while stirring.
  4. Add corn and continue mixing. Add milk to thin if needed.
  5. Add salt & pepper to taste.
