Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • ground beef – browned with soy sauce or just s & p
  • carrot (sauté or fresh)
  • Cucumber (thin strips, scrub with salt or sauté, remove seeds = get rid of moisture)
  • Zucchini (see cucumber instructions)
  • Green/Red bell peppers (fresh)
  • Bean sprouts
  • celery
  • rice
  • fried egg (optional)

Red Pepper Paste

  • 3 tbsp Korean Red Pepper Paste
  • 1 1/5 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (white)
  • * sugar, sesame oil & salt are changeable after tasting

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with soy sauce or salt & pepper.
  2. Cook rice.
  3. Cut veggies in very thin strips, 2-3″ long.
  4. Mix sauce ingredients well.
  5. Put rice in bowl. Add beef & veggies in groups.
  6. Add fried egg.
  7. Add red pepper paste sauce on top.
  8. Mix together. Enjoy!
