Almond Crescent cookies

Ingredients

  • 227 g butter (1c)
  • 115g cream cheese (4 oz)
  • 165 g powdered sugar (1 1/3 c)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 335 g flour (2 2/3 c)
  • 1 1/3 cups finely chopped or ground almonds

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and cream cheese.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat well.
  3. Add vanilla and lemon juice.
  4. Slowly add flour.
  5. Stir in nuts
  6. Drop onto un-greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls, and shape into crescent shape.
  7. Bake @ 340° F/ 170°C degrees til light brown. (10-12 min)
  8. Roll in powdered sugar while warm ( I generally do it twice. Once a couple minutes out of the oven. Second time: when they’ve cooled more).
