Ingredients

For Crust: Make regular pizza dough

For Filling

  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • green and/or black olives
  • pepperoni
  • sausage
  • mozzarella cheese
  • pizza seasoning (basil, oregano, fennel, pepper)
  • beaten egg (to seal edges & top)

Instructions

  1. Make sausage. Prepare all other ingredients (chop veggies).
  2. Mix all together. May need 1/2 can of tomato sauce to thin it out a little.
  3. Add a few spoonfuls of filling to dough.
  4. Brush edges of dough with beaten egg, press edges together to seal.
  5. Set on sprayed cookie sheet. Let raise 10+ minutes
  6. Brush top of pocket with beaten egg.
  7. Bake 12-15 minutes at 450° F / 232° C
  8. Can be frozen after baking, and once cooled.
