Almond Crescent cookies

- 227 g butter (1c)
- 115g cream cheese (4 oz)
- 165 g powdered sugar (1 1/3 c)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 335 g flour (2 2/3 c)
- 1 1/3 cups finely chopped or ground almonds
Instructions
- Cream together butter and cream cheese.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and beat well.
- Add vanilla and lemon juice.
- Slowly add flour.
- Stir in nuts
- Drop onto un-greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls, and shape into crescent shape.
- Bake @ 340° F/ 170°C degrees til light brown. (10-12 min)
- Roll in powdered sugar while warm ( I generally do it twice. Once a couple minutes out of the oven. Second time: when they’ve cooled more).
