Cranberry Scones

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped in half
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 egg
Top
- 1 egg
- turbinado sugar
Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder & salt.
- Make a well in the center.
- Combine remaining ingredients (cranberries, honey, cream, egg) and pour into flour well.
- Mix until moistened.
- Knead 10-12 times.
- Pat into 2 – 1/2″ (thick) circles and cut each in 6 wedges.
- Brush with 1 egg + 1 T water.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake on greased sheet, 20-25 minutes, @ 375º F
