Creamed Corn

- 2 cups corn
- 2 tbsp butter (2–4 oz)
- 8 oz heavy cream (can use cream cheese)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- salt & pepper, to taste
- milk, as needed
Instructions
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes while stirring.
- Add cream or cream cheese, & sugar. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Allow to simmer 1 minute while stirring.
- Add corn and continue mixing. Add milk to thin if needed.
- Add salt & pepper to taste.
